Who are we?
The short answer? We’re a video production company. We specialize in corporate video, promotions, and advertising. We’ve worked with partners in the construction industry, medicine, athletics, real estate, finance, law, music, and tourism (for the past year, we’ve been the exclusive video production company for Tourism Burnaby). We’re great at finding creative and appealing ways to illuminate your brand story in a challenging visual medium.
The long answer is a little more interesting.
Our Mission
We could talk forever in convoluted jargon about things like picture quality, resolution, aperture, exposure, lenses, fancy gear, blah blah blah. You don’t need to hear it, and you don’t want to hear it. You have a smartphone, which can take higher quality video than almost any camera that would’ve been on the market 10-15 years ago. Any average person with an iPhone can take and edit passable video content.
However, we don’t want to create content. To us, content is a nothing concept. “Content” is a word you use to describe the meaningless digital matter that crowds the virtual spaces around you, offering nothing salient or engrossing or emotive. Content is filler without satisfaction; a story without characters or structure or an ending. It’s an ice cream cone without ice cream.
What we want is to help you build stories; tailor-made, compelling, bold videos that appeal to your audience’s emotional and aesthetic instincts.
So yes, we are technical perfectionists. Yes, we take high-quality video, we have the latest and greatest equipment, and we know how to edit precisely and effectively, but what really sets us apart is our capacity to find and illuminate your story; to make people understand in a few short seconds what you are all about.
So for us, it isn’t just about splicing together some generic, digestible, whatever content. It’s about creating captivating video that stands out from the huge miasma of faceless internet media that surrounds us.
